Happy Easter! (and Other Stuff)

Unlike last year, we actually dyed eggs this year (last year, Austin's birth meant we came home from the hospital the day before Easter). Isaac enjoyed dying the eggs, though did not really grasp the concept of fragility. He wanted to just throw the eggs in the dye rather than set them gently. Fortunately, only one egg actually cracked through all of his efforts. Here are the finished products:
The Easter Bunny came last night and hid all of our eggs (thankfully in very obvious places). Unfortunately, Austin wakes up between 5:30 and 6am whereas Isaac often sleeps until almost 7am. So, it was Aaron's turn to watch Austin in the boys room while Isaac slept with Momma. Austin did not like being stuck in the room for an hour and a half by himself. Eventually, Isaac woke up and they found all of the eggs.
Isaac's favorite thing was that the Easter Bunny bought him Boost and Snot Rod (Disney Pixar Cars characters). That is what he has in his hands in the above picture. He expressed thanks for the Easter Bunny bringing the cars in two of his prayers today. Very cute!
Things are going well for us. Here are a few other pictures:
Daddy's attempt to keep Austin up "just a little bit longer goes down in flames.
Isaac loves Reagan, the little boy who is baby-sat by Jensine's exercise partner (son of a couple in our ward).
For some reason, Isaac thought that this was a fun way to drink his juice.

Stefani had a hard time with being gentle but did fairly well. It was hard for me to just let her do it but I did and she loved it! How fun for you and your family to dye and look for Easter eggs.

Ah, Easter so much more fun with kids I think. I think that about most holidays. Glad he showed gratitude for the Easter Bunny.
