Aaron turned 28 on Wednesday! He had the most fantastic day by doing jury duty all day, coming home for an hour, then going to a meeting followed by mutual. It doesn't get much better than that! I actually think he really enjoyed mutual b/c he made his style of fried rice with the priests. He is always thrilled to get people to say they like both kim chi and spam :)
We didn't get very many pictures of Aaron opening presents for his birthday which is too bad as he got some pretty fantastic presents from the boys. We went to the dollar store, where they both got to pick out two presents for Aaron. Isaac was actually making some hard choices (a Tonka truck coloring book or a spiderman puzzle?), but with Austin I just went with whatever he did not want to give back. So Aaron's stash for the day was: A Spiderman and Friends puzzle, a pack of six cars, an Ironman paddle ball, and best of all, a glow in the dark bracelet. Very thoughtful :) I also made Aaron an Elmo card "from" the boys. They made some nice pictures inside it, but when it came time to giving it to Aaron--Austin did not want to give it up. So Aaron was very nice and shared all his new toys and card with the boys.
After Aaron got back that night he blew out the candles on his brownie. Anyone who knows Aaron, knows how he feels about cake. We only had one pack of 24 candles, so we arranged them to look like a two and an eight instead. Kinda hard to tell, but it worked. Happy Birthday Aaron, we sure love you!
